Trick-or-Treat for Cans

LARNED — Larned High School Student Council and FCCLA members will pick up cans for Trick-or-Treat For Cans from 5:30 p.m. until dusk Friday evening. The food items collected will be donated to the Pawnee County Food Bank

Commission to meet

LARNED — The Pawnee County Commission will conduct a public meeting at 10 a.m. Monday to receive input and discussion for an application for the recreational trails program grant.

Larned Open House

LARNED — Area businesses will conduct Larned’s Christmas Open House from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5.
A Where’s Santa? holiday giveaway will present a $500 Larned gift certificate to be used at a participating business.
Businesses participating are Scraps, Bliss Salon and Boutique, Antiques and Artifacts, Doerr’s Ace Hardware, Dress It Up, Tabler Furniture, Danica Photography, Alco Discount, Country Seasons Flower Shoppe, Delicious Creations Boutique, Lar Shar Beauty Salon, Mystic Trove Book Boutique, Regalos, B&B Quality Meats, Pamida and Meyer Deli and Crafts.
