Farmers Union to meet

LARNED — The annual meeting of the Pawnee County Farmers Union is scheduled at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Pawnee County Courthouse lounge. Donn Teske, KFU president, will discuss Farm Bill legislation and the Keystone Pipeline. Matt Meyerhoff, Pawnee County District conservationist, will talk about cost share programs.

Endowment to sponsor sale

LARNED — The Larned State Hospital Endowment Association will sponsor an Everything $6 fundraising jewelry and accessories sale at the LSH auditorium near the center of the Larned State Hospital grounds from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28 and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29.
Most items, except specially priced specials, are $6.  The event is sponsored through  B&N Jewelry, a Kansas company.
Sales benefit the LSH Endowment Association, which has a mission of enhancing patient care at Larned State Hospital. For information, contact Brenda West Hagerman (620) 285-4595.
