Lions Club featured

LARNED — Thursday’s Larned Chamber of Commerce coffee hour will be sponsored by the Fort Larned Lions Club at Carr Auction and Real Estate, 909 Auction Avenue from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The Lions Club members will talk about their Christmas Basket project.

Special meeting set

LARNED — The Pawnee County Board of Commissioners will meet in special session at 11 a.m., Friday to consider additional monies needed for equipment for the new hospital facility.  The commssion may also approve and sign checks for payables, change orders, and any other business as presented.
The public is invited to attend.


Gift wrapping offered

LARNED — Escue Chapel Missionaries are offering a gift wrapping service for your Christmas gifts. They will wrap all of your gifts for one low price. Single gifts are welcome. The service will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 9 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the church at 1222 Carroll Avenue in Larned.
