Driver hospitalized

PAWNEE COUNTY — St. John’s Joseph Snyder was transported to Stafford County Hospital with possible injuries following a one-vehicle accident at 8:59 a.m. Thursday.
Snyder, 59, lost control of a northbound 1999 Chevrolet when the truck slid into the east ditch, striking a tree. The accident occurred on 40th Avenue, eight miles east and nine miles south of Larned. The vehicle was left on the scene due to road conditions. It was undetermined whether Snyder was wearing a seatbelt.

The service will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 9 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the church at 1222 Carroll Avenue in Larned.
