Lyons Public Library and the Rice County Historical Society fundraiser

The Lyons Public Library and the Rice County Historical Society are holding a fundraiser on Jan. 27 at the Lyons Town & Country Club.  The event opens with a social at 6:15 p.m. Appetizers, wine, tea, and coffee will be available. KWCH Ross Janssen with Millie will present a program at 7 p.m.    
Tickets for the fundraising event are $12.50 per person. The few remaining tickets must be purchased in advance at the Library, 217 East Avenue South, Lyons, or at the Rice County Historical Society/Coronado Quivira Museum, 105 West Lyon, Lyons.
A silent auction will be part of the evening’s activities. Items include Lady Antebellum tickets, Prairie Oaks Inn Bed and Breakfast Stay, Arabia Steamboat Museum tickets, Wichita State basketball tickets, and a Kansas University basketball signed by Coach Bill Self.    
The event’s proceeds will support the educational endeavors of the Lyons Public Library and the Rice County Historical Society.
