Macksville Grace Church is committed to service and caring for their neighbors. Thanks to a $2,000 grant from the South Central Community Foundation, Macksville Grace distributed 14 boxes to families at the holidays and restocked the Food Pantry at the church and at the Necessities Nook in the Macksville City Library.

Grant funds were used to purchase healthy food items for the shelves and freezer, as well as necessities such as toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo, detergent, diapers, etc., for anyone in need.  

Also purchased were lead testing kits and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, available while supplies last.

SCCF is a regional foundation that manages charitable funds for seven counties in South-Central Kansas.
