Great Bend High School students will present the play “Miss Nelson is Missing!” at 2 p.m. Sunday in the GBHS Auditorium. There will also be performances at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Tickets are $4 in advance or $6 at the door.
Instructor Holly Johnson directs this play.
“It is based off a children’s story that many preschool and kindergarten teachers read to their students,” Johnson said. “It is appropriate for all ages and very funny.”
Cast members include Miss Nelson, Gentry Schnider; Viola Swamp, Jadon Ward; Principal Humleker, Geoffery Pafford; and Mr. McSmogg, Aaron Clark.
Cast members playing student are: Elvis, Donovan Paden; Morris (Mouse), Patrick Heath; Lavita, Mckayla Williams; George Jorgenson Jr., Hayden Honomichl; Kimberly, Bayle Sandy; Phoebe, Molli Banks; Raymond, Andrew Faulk; and extra students Lexy Fox, K.D. Scherer, Cely Hutchinson, Deziel Carey and Brady Daniels.
Connie Claussen is assistant director, Madison Jones is stage manager and Olivia Mull is assistant stage manager.
Daniel Abbott is the light operator and Hannah Jones is the sound operator, with assistant sound operator Trevor Fehr. Costumes and makeup are by Dessa Cline and Jailyn Hull.
The tech crew is Allias Hartman, Mikah Proffitt, Kaylee Bryant, Tamara Taylor, Ethan R, Karter Smith and Lily Fellers.
The GBHS Art Department/Club painted the set.
