Parents of students at Holy Family School in Great Bend were notified Monday that Karen Moeder “will no longer be serving as Principal of Holy Family School effective immediately.”

The notice from Father Aneesh Parappanattu continued, “We are developing a plan for filling her role in our school, and you will be provided with updates in the coming days.” 

The notice advised that Lisa Neeland is filling the role of teacher in charge. It concluded, “please keep Karen, her family, the Holy Family School staff and all of our school family in your prayers.”

Moeder declined to comment when contacted Tuesday by the Great Bend Tribune.
