A time to plant
Recently, dead trees were removed from the Great Bend Public Library front lawn. Now, city employees are planting several new trees to take their place. The trunk of one of the dead trees was left behind at the corner of Williams and Forest and plans include the possibility of having an artist carve it into a sculpture.
