Conceal/Carry Class to be held in Claflin

CLAFLIN — The Central Kansas Conceal/Carry organization will each a Conceal/Carry Class from 6-10 p.m. on May 21 and May 23.
It will be held at the Claflin Fire Department. Cost is $75 per person.

Run to benefit Mikal Bond

CLAFLIN — Thirteen-year-old Mikal Bond was seriously injured in a bicycle wreck with a car in 2011.
To help pay for ongoing medical bills, there will be a bicyckle race at 8 a.m. on June 1. Registration is at 7 a.m.
The race starts at Central Plains High School-Claflin. The cost is $25. There is a 13-,14- or 50-mile run. Call 785-737-3726 for more information.
