Buddy program
First grade at Ellinwood Grade School applied and received grant money from the Golden Belt Foundation to help fund a Buddy Program in cooperation with Country Place Senior Living Facility. Students are taking turns visiting the residents every Monday afternoon to participate in a variety of social activities together. On the first visit, students enjoyed reading Fall books with their buddies. Pictured are Linda Duncans students Brooklin Morgan, Alexis Donovan, and Harley Allen along with their new buddy, Alma.
