Central Plains Middle School would like to recognize Julie Donecker and Colton Potts as the September Students of the Month.
Julie is the daughter of Kevin and Elaine Donecker and is in the 8th grade.  She has two siblings: Matt and Melissa.
Julie represents her class as a Renaissance Council member and participates in cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, track and quiz bowl.   Her favorite subject in school is English/Reading. When asked what she likes best about school, she replied, “seeing my friends”.
“Julie is responsible and helpful to other students,” commented math teacher, Mrs. Dohrman.
Colton Potts is the son of Ron and Connie Potts and is an eighth grader at CPMS-Bushton this year.
Colton has been involved in band, vocal and quiz bowl.  His favorite subject in school is reading.  What Colton likes best about school is “getting to hang out with my friends”.
“Colton is an excellent reader and thinker.  He also is very helpful to others and has a wonderful sense of humor.  He is not embarrassed to be who he is and everyone accepts him for that.  He is very motivated in school to do his best too,” remarked English teacher, Mrs. Barton.
Congratulations, Julie and Colton, for being selected as the CPMS Students of the Month.
