ELLINWOOD — Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students at Ellinwood High School celebrated national FBLA-PBL Week, Feb. 5-12.

"The momentum of a national event provides the perfect occasion to spotlight CTE programs that are making a difference—like FBLA—in the lives of our students, in our community, and to our nation overall," stated Lorie Betts, FBLA adviser.

To start off the week, 12 FBLA members attended the District V competition at Canton-Galva High school Feb. 4.

The results of the District FBLA Conference are:

Desktop Publishing Team, 1st place, Kayla Schartz and Stephanie Troyer; Business Communications, 1st place, Kayla Schartz; Word Processing II, 1st place, Sarah Fox; Spreadsheet Applications, 2nd Place

Rachel Morales; Cyber Security, 2nd place, Jesse Zamarripa; Quiz Bowl Team, 2nd place, Kayla Schartz, Rachel Morales, Sam Kline-Martin, Shay Watts, Jesse Zamarripa; Network Design Team, 3rd place, Sam Kline-Martin and Jesse Zamarripa; Business Ethics Team, 5th place, Sarah Fox and Kyle Blakeslee; Management Decision Making Team, 5th place, Kayla Schartz, Sam Kline-Martin, Stephanie Troyer;
