ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood High School recently attended the 2013 District Future Business Leaders of America Conference hosted by Canton-Galva High School.  The  students attended the conference and many placed in the competitive events. The next competitive event will be the State FBLA Conference April 3-5 in Topeka.
Those who placed were: Kyle Blakeslee, 3rd place Business Ethics Team, 10th Sports Management; Jenna Collins, 1st Spreadsheet, 1st Desktop Publishing Team; Emily Fox, Entrepreneurship Participant; Cody Isern, 2nd place Banking and Financial  Team; Sam Kline-Martin, 4th Network Design Team, 6th Networking Concepts; Devin Pflughoeft,        4th Network Design Team, 8th Networking Concepts; Mattie Shafer, 3rd Public Speaking; Stephanie Troyer, 1st Desktop Publishing Team, 8th Sports Management; Gavin Vink,    3rd Place Business Ethics Team; Derek Ward, 2nd Place Banking and Financial  Team; and Cody Woodruff, 4th Network Design Team.
