Approximately 74 calls for service and 104 Officer initiated calls were received for the month of April. Officers responded to five medical/fire calls and worked two non-injury accidents. Nine arrests were made and nine criminal summonses were served in the month of April.

April 1
Mitch Menges was arrested in the 10 block of North Main on the charge of battery, domestic violence. Menges was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
April 3
A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 300 block of West 7th.
A non-injury accident report was taken in the 400 block of East 1st.
April 5
A theft report was taken in the 200 block of West B.
A theft report was taken in the 400 block of East 2nd.
Adam Shull was arrested in the 300 block of North Schiller on a Barton County Warrant. Shull was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
April 10
John Werner was served a criminal summons for inoperable vehicles in the 400 block of East 5th.

A theft report was taken in the 200 block of Pembroke Lane.
April 18
Linda Stairett was arrested on a Barton County Warrant in the 100 block of East 4th. Stairett was transported to the Barton County Jail, where she was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
April 19
A Child in Need of Care Report was taken in the 100 block of South Fritz.
April 20
A theft report was taken in the 100 block of East C.
April 23
Mario Guerrero was arrested in the 200 block of West Santa Fe for no drivers license. Guerrero was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.

Cheryl Whiting was served a criminal summons for inoperable vehicles in the 400 block of East Santa Fe.
April 26
A Child in Need of Care, protective custody report was taken in the 100 block of South Fritz.
April 27
A dog bite report was taken in the 500 block of North Weiland.

Kirk Jackson was arrested in the 300 block of West 5th on a Barton County Warrant. Jackson was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
April 29
Elias Trejo was arrested in the 100 block of East 1st for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or both. Trejo was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
Heather Ploutz was arrested in the 300 block of North Bismark for transportation of open container. Ploutz was transported to the Barton County Jail, where she was booked and confined in lieu of bond.
A hit and run accident report was taken in the 100 block of East Santa Fe.
