ELLINWOOD — Summer has just gotten started so it is hard to believe that After Harvest Festival is just a month away. The committee has been meeting regularly and have some new events to add tothe After Harvest Schedule and also improvements on the long standing traditional activities.
For the kick off of the After Harvest Festival on Thursday July 18, there will be several new activities. The pool is sponsoring Pirate Adventures with the fun beginning at 10 a.m. More details will be released from the pool on exact activities that will take place during the Pirate Adventures.
A new activity added this year will be a Variety Show during the barbecue. The committee is looking for acts that may include but is not limited to-singing, dancing, juggling, comedy, readings,  or whatever special thing you have to entertain the crowd. group. Please make sure that acts are family friendly!
Alex Cartwright & the Back Roads a  local folk music/contemporary Country band will also be performing during the Variety Show’s musical numbers.  This band
will offer very unique instruments.
