Hoisington forensics qualifies for state

HOISINGTON — Eleven Hoisington High School forensics team members have qualified 17 entries for state forensics in Wichita on May 5.
Shannon Manka, Austin Stout and Deiah Curtis each qualified in three events, but high school activity association rules will limit them to competition in two.  Manka will be competing in prose and serious solo acting. Stout will be competing in serious solo acting and humorous solo acting. Curtis is unable to attend.
Students who qualified and will compete in two events include Jacob Durrett in prose and improvised duet acting, Olivia Lowry in prose and improvised duet acting, and Ashley Lockwood in informative and improvised duet acting.
Jordin Greer will compete in humorous solo acting; Echo Durham will compete in prose; Zaine Willesden, Tyler Base and Peter McCool will compete in improvised duet acting.
