Honor choir
Above is a photo of Ellinwood High School junior Stephanie Troyer and EHS choir director Meredith Duling at the Kansas Music Education Association All State Honor Choir held in Wichita last weekend. There were 256 students from all over the state of Kansas selected to participate in this event. After auditioning in November, Troyer participated in district honor choir, where she learned her audition score was high enough to earn a spot on the All State Choir. While at state choir students worked with Dr. Kenneth Fulton, professor of choral studies at Louisiana State University, for two days before performing at Century II on Saturday afternoon.
