HRC to take fall trips

The Hoisington Recreation Commission is offering a wide variety of trips this fall.

For those who like to gamble, a trip to the Boot Hill Casino in Dodge City will be offered Sept. 14 for those aged 21 and up. The bus leaves the Hoisington activity Center at 8:15 a.m. and will leave Dodge City at 3 p.m.

On Sept. 26, HRC will offer a trip to see the Kansas City Chiefs versus the San Francisco 49ers. The cost varies from $75 to $100 per person. The bus will leave HAC at 7 a.m. Lunch is on your own.

Based on the musical comedy "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," the Crown Uptown Dinner theater offers this musical comedy about two fraudsters living on the French Rivera on Sept. 23. The cost is $40 which includes the trip, the buffet, and the show.

On Oct. 9, HRC will travel to Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure during their fall festival. The cost is $25 per person, and the bus leaves HAC at 9 a.m. Lunch is not provided. The deadline to register is Sept. 24.

For Christmas shopping, there will be a trip to Legends Mall and Cabala’s in Kansas City on Nov. 13. The bus will leave at 6 a.m. and the cost is $20 per person.

There will be a trip to the Wichita Intrust Bank Arena to see the "Radio City Christmas Spectacular Starring the Rockettes" on Nov. 20. The cost is $60 per person and the bus will leave HAC at 12:30 p.m. The show is at 4 p.m.
