KOC holds centennial celebration

On Nov. 12, 1910 the Hoisington Knights of Columbus was chartered, and on Dec. 12, 2010, the council celebrated its centennial with a social hour and dinner. The Council had a class of 94 charter members. The council has been active in both civic and parish affairs. The council membership has always worked hand in hand with the pastor of St. John Parish in lending added strength to any activity he might undertake. Members of the council have always been found working with civic organizations for the improvement of the Hoisington community.
