New business
The Hoisington Chamber of Commerce cut a ribbon for a new business, Christians Construction, at its chamber meeting last week. The new business in Hoisington, Christians Construction, is owned by Scott Christians. The company will mainly do concrete work, as well as build garages and roofing. The owner, Scott Christians, grew up in Hoisington and graduated from Hoisington High School in 2004. He has worked in construction all of his life. There are four employees with the company, which opened on June 1. They are currently looking for a building to move in to. The logo of the company is helping to build a better community. He is married to his wife Missy who works at Wilson State Bank, and they have two children.
