Parents Night Out The Hoisington Recreation Commission recently hosted a Parents Night Out. Fifty-five youngsters from preschool to sixth grade participated in Papa Murphys Parents Night Out. Parents dropped off their children around 4 p.m. This event gave parents a free evening to go out to dinner, do some Christmas shopping, or just relax and enjoy some quiet time. Kids participated in a variety of activities, including coloring Christmas pictures, doing dance activities, and playing games. Kids also enjoyed a delicious pizza supper, donated by Papa Murphys. Following the meal, the kids watched a Christmas movie and were surprised by a special visitor whose jolly laughter and jingle bells distracted them from the movie. The final activity of the evening was a relay competition, and the youngsters ran the length of the gym floor then sat on a balloon to make it pop. Hoisington High School students volunteered their time to help. - photo by COURTESY PHOTO Latest Kudos for Dudek's koi paintings Catch monarchs at Quiviras Monarch Mania Sunflower Diversified pancake dinner sets new record Ellinwood Municipal Court Docket - June 14
