ELLINWOOD — St. Joseph Parish School of Religion students shared a class with a special visitor, newly ordained Bishop John Brungardt, the sixth Bishop of Dodge City Diocese. A soft-spoken man with encouraging words and provoking thoughts for all ages, Bishop shared a story of the prodigal son, a familiar Bible story to some. "What do you see on the Fathers face in this picture ‘shown above’?" the Bishop asked the students. Student answers of love and forgiveness came forth, and they were right.
