HOISINGTON — At 7:18 a.m. on Monday, Zachary Joseph Mayers, 22, of Hoisington, was traveling south on Center Street when he fell asleep at the wheel and left the roadway, striking a 2009 Chevrolet pickup truck  owned by the state of Kansas.
The 2009 Chevrolet had no occupants and was legally parked in the 500 block of Center Street. Mayers 2004 Chevrolet truck rolled on its side in a driveway causing significant damage. The 2009 also received significant damage and was inoperabl
