Sjogren nominated for Kansas National Distinguished Principal

ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood Elementary School Principal Eric Sjogren  has been selected as the District 5 nominee for the Kansas National Distinguished Principal award.
This is a program to recognize excellence in elementary and middle level building principal leadership. Candidates are recognized for being an active principal in a school in which a commitment to excellence is clearly evident, and schools which show an increased or consistently high level of student achievement.
Sjogren was nominated by USD 355  Superintendent Ben Jacobs.
The Kansas Association of Elementary School Principals has divided the state into six districts. One principal from each district has been selected to complete the application process for NDP. Each district nominee will be honored at the Fall Conference in Wichita.
