St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish of Hoisington will be offering the parish basketball trophies from previous years (prior to 2009) by holding a Silent Auction at the Hoisington Knights of Columbus Hall, 114 N. Main St., on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5. Bids must be placed by 2 p.m. and trophies picked up before closing that day.

People will put their name, phone number, and bid on a piece of paper next to the trophy/trophies they wish to purchase. Highest bidder will win the trophy.
