ELLINWOOD —Julie Bugner-Smith, executive director of United Way of Central Kansas, and the board of directors are pleased to announce their newest addition to the United Way Board of Directors, Ronda Sjogren.
“Ronda along with her husband Eric were 2013 co-chairs for the United Way of Central Kansas Campaign.  Ronda did an outstanding job as co-chair and is a welcome addition to the UWCK Board. She is an excellent representative for the Ellinwood community and will be joining Becca Maxwell from Ellinwood. Together they are outstanding ambassadors for United Way of Central Kansas and the agencies and programs UWCK funds and represent,” said Bugner-Smith.
Sjogren works at Sunflower Bank where she is the branch manager at the Great Bend location.  The Sjogrens have two children, Theron, a freshman at Ellinwood High School, and Haven, who is a sixth grader at Ellinwood Grade School. Her husband Eric is the principal of Ellinwood Grade School.
