The suspect in the Dec. 19 burglary of P&S Security, Richard Allen Etim, was arrested just after 3 p.m. Thursday, the Great Bend Police Department reported.

Lt. William Browne said an officer made a traffic stop on a red Honda car at Lakin and Harding. During the stop it was discovered that Etim, 22, was in the car, and there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident and was booked into the Barton County Jail with bond set at $20,000.

Etim is suspected of breaking into P&S Security, 1705 K-96, with an accomplice and talking a large number of guns.

Browne said the Kansas Highway Patrol assisted on the arrest and formal charges are pending.

"This case remains under investigation," he said. "Anyone with information in regards to this case is asked to call the Great Bend Police Department, 620-793-4120, or Crime Stoppers, 620-792-1300."
