Ceremonial flag burning
Each Veterans Day, the Ellinwood American Legion and the Ellinwood Boy Scouts hold a ceremonial flag burning to teach the boys the proper way to dispose of dilapidated flags. Last Tuesday, the boys and American Legion leadership braved the cold for the flag burning.
