Chelsea A. Kaundart, 21, was traveling southbound on Washington in the 300 block and lost control on the snow and ice at about 3 p.m. on Sunday. The vehicle then crossed the center line and entered the east ditch sideways striking a cedar tree, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log.
She was driving a 2003 Mercury Sable. She was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital.
A passenger in the vehicle was not injured. Both were wearing safety restraints.
