Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Thursday. There were no fires.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer near Claflin on K-4 and NE 100 Ave. around 8:50 p.m. on Thursday. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
An underage drinking party at a small camp site on NE 60 Road near Cheyenne Bottoms was reported at 10:03 p.m. Thursday. Hoisington Fire Department also responded.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Jonathon Turner was eastbound on 21st St. at 3:16 p.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Raul Rivas Jr., who was stopped in traffic.
A vehicular burglary at 4200 10th St. was reported at 6:06 a.m. Friday. Someone took a checkbook out of the vehicle.
