Police recover .45 shell casings

Crime Stoppers has released more information on the shots fires Monday morning outside the Walnut Plaza apartments, 2611 27th St.
According to Police Chief Dean Akings, spent shell casings of a .45-caliber weapon were recovered.
Several residents of the apartment complex heard three or four gunshots at 7:50 a.m. Akings said one person reported seeing an older blue or gray Chevy or Ford pickup, with a passenger’s arm extended from the window, firing the shots. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
