Pumpkin picking
Grace Hoskins, daughter of Mickey and Danielle Hoskins, tries to hoist a pumpkin at the First Christian Church Pumpkin Patch Wednesday afternoon. The church, 5230 Broadway in Great Bend, is selling the pumpkins as a fund raiser to help pay for youth activities, vacation Bible school and a mission trip to Nashville, Tenn. The patch is open from noon to 8 p.m. through Saturday and from 1-8 p.m. Sunday. Pumpkins of various sizes and other fall decorations are available.
