Monday night, the Great Bend Recreation Commission, with the help of students from several of Great Bend High School’s service clubs and the support of several area businesses, pulled off another successful Santa’s Workshop.  Each year for several years now, it has provided an evening of free family entertainment as well as a chance for area children to craft, play games, and visit with Santa.  Snacks and entertainment, like that provided by the GBHS El Sol Folk Dancer Club, made for a festive event.
The main event took place that the City Auditorium, but for families with younger kids, craft tables with easy crafts were available in a quiet space next door at the Rec offices.
