The Great Bend Noon Lions Club will continue a 28-year tradition Thursday, Oct. 4. The service organization will hold its annual Spaghetti Feed from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Great Bend Elks Lodge, 1120 Kansas Ave.
Tickets are $5 and are for sale from club members or at the door, and include all-you-can-eat spaghetti and garlic bread, and a beverage. Slices of pies and other desserts will be available for an extra charge.
Dine in and carry-out will be available.
“This is our biggest fundraising endeavor,” said Dianne Morse, club president. The money goes towards scholarships, other educational programs such as Lions State Band and sight-related projects locally, nationally and around the world.
“The is important to our club,” she said.
Event co-chair Dennis Sherman said ticket sales are lagging a little behind years past. “We have a whole bunch to sell before next week.”
For more information, contact Sherman at 620-786-5739 or fellow co-chair Kevin Sundahl at 620-793-2224.
