HOISINGTON — A stabbing victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita Sunday and a suspect is in jail.
According to the Hoisington Police Department, officers were dispatched to 260 West Sixth St. in Hoisington around 12:41 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, Brian Scott Reed, 49, Hoisington, said he had just stabbed someone.
Someone had driven the victim, Eric Ehster, 26, to Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington, and he was later flown to Wichita and Via Christi’s St. Francis Hospital.
According to the Barton County Jail log, Reed was booked on a charge of aggravated battery, in lieu of $20,000 bond.
