Two people were flown to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita after a motor vehicle accident Friday night in Larned.

Kansas Highway Patrol reports David J. Dinning, 41, of Larned, was flown from the scene by Life Watch air ambulance. Sharla Alana Durrett, 47, Great Bend, was taken to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned and then transferred to Wesley by Life Watch.

The accident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. on K-156 at Corse Ave. in Larned. Dinning was in a northbound 1991 Chevrolet Silverado pickup and rear-ended the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Durrett, who was stopped at the intersection.

A spokesman for Wesley Medical Center said Dinning was listed in fair condition Saturday afternoon; information on Durrett was unavailable.
