Tickets are now available for purchase to the Unified School District 428 Education Foundation dinner/auction. The fund raiser is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the Highland Hotel, 3017 10th St., Great Bend. Tickets are $50 each.

The Feathers-and-flames-themed evening will include a flame-kissed flat-iron steak dinner, flaming dessert and entertainment by the Great Bend High School Madrigal Pops Singers. Following the dinner, there will be a live auction of ceramic candle holder centerpieces. The one-of-a-kind items are hand made by Great Bend High School art students of Liz Bowman.

This Education Foundation fund raiser helps fund the minigrant program in which teachers apply for grants to help supplement their programs that would otherwise be unfunded.
