HUGOTON 64, LARNED 39
LARNED — No. 2 seeded Hugoton outscored Larned in all four quarter to speed past the Indians 64-39 in the Class 4A-Div. 2 basketball substate. The Eagles increased their scoring in each quarter, starting with a 10-point first quarter and ending with a 24-point fourth period.
Larned (14-7) was paced by Trevor Meyer and Derek Delgado with eight points apiece.
Hugoton (14-6) showed good balance with Zack Leininger scoring 13 points and Parker Titus adding 10 points. Seven players scored at least six points. Hugoton meets No. 1 ranked Holcomb in Saturday’s finals. Holcomb beat Hugoton 80-66 and 67-56 during the regular season.

LARNED — No. 1 ranked Holcomb rolled past Pratt 59-29 in the Class 4A-Div. 2 Larned basketball substate.
Holcomb (20-1) was led by Christian Merz with 23 points and five 3-pointers. Dalton Gottschalk added 12 points. The Longhorns led 32-13 at halftime and cruised home.
