LARNED — Larned’s No. 2 singles player Dalton Penka captured first place in the Larned Invitational Tennis Tournament. Penka beat players from Ellsworth, Ellinwood and Colby to capture first place.
Larned’s No. 1 singles D.J. Mead, No. 1 doubles David Thomson and Nick Orth and No. 2 doubles Cadin Limon and Kobe Krasinger each finished runner-up.
Ellsworth finished first with 28 points and Larned placed second with 25 points. Ellsworth’s No. 1 singles Joey Oberle, No. 1 doubles Alex Maxwell and Colby Kraus and No. 2 doubles Parrish Blanding and Dalton Zelenka each placed first.
