LARNED — Larned High’s volleyball momentum was stopped in a doubleheader loss to state-ranked Smoky Valley and Halstead Tuesday night. The Indians lost a pair of tightly-contested matches.
The Vikings (10-4, 3-0 CKL) downed the Indians 25-19, 25-19. Halstead completed the sweep 25-23, 25-16.
Among the players competing for Larned include Ally Aldrich, Erin Smith, Lyida Duft, Aarika Bright, Kaitlyn Finger, Kelsey Parr, Dava Makings and Courtney Detherage,
The Indians (5-8, 1-2 CKL) compete at the Russell Tournament Saturday. Larned plays Hesston and Haven at Haven Tuesday.
