Larneds Massey places third at CKL tourney

STERLING — Larned’s Colton Massey finished third with a 74 in the Central Kansas League golf tournament at Sterling Country Club.
Larned’s Brandon Bartz shot 81 to place ninth. Braeden Corman shot 105. Sterling’s Caleb Hendricks beat teaamate Nick Schissler in a playoff after they tied with 71s. Sterling won the CKL tournament with a 306, 39 strokes better than Halstead.
Ryan Broeder led Hoisington with an 86. The Cardinals shot 374.
