Members of the guild met on February 2 in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church.  New members include Jenny, Sarah, and Audrey Manry.  A thank you note was read from Wadonna King for the prayer quilt for her brother and also viewed was a quilting show notice and a picture of Janis Lewis during her visit to India while visiting her son.  Announcements included the Yoder parade of quilts during the month of March and the Wichita quilt show in June.  Donations for batting for prayer quilts were accepted from Presbyterian women and other guild members.  Dues are now being accepted by the guild treasurer.
Mary Weber displayed a # - Hash Tag quilt block and a fabric pin.  Cupcakes were enjoyed for Ann Hick’s birthday during the practice time.  Sue Southam demonstrated the Seminole Patchwork pattern.  A basic beginner’s class for young girls is being offered.  For further information, contact the Pawnee County Extension office. The next regular meeting of the guild will be on Tuesday, February 16 at 7:00 pm.  Interested persons may call the church office at 285-6033.
