Coffee Time — Tuesday 9:30 a.m. Bring food to share, or just show up.
Tea Time —Tuesday 3 p.m. — Bring a friend and finger food. Tea is furnished.
Balance and Flexibility Class — Tuesday and Friday 11 a.m. About a 30-minute class led by Betty Tauscher.
Birthday and Anniversary Dinner — Thursday noon — For all who have birthdays or anniversaries in October.       
Crafts — Thursday 1 p.m. There are several ongoing projects.
Wii games —  Every day 11 a.m. Wii games. Come in and play a variety of fun games.
Mexican Train (dominoes) game. Every day following lunch. Come play with us.

Did you know?
Meals are prepared at the Welcome Inn, Monday through Friday. These meals are for those that eat here, those that pick up meals to take home, and for those that have meals delivered to them. Meals also are transported to Macksville and Kinsley. About 15 meals to Macksville and 20 meals are delivered daily to Kinsley by Betty, who drops off two meals in Garfield.  Teresa, Chris, Anita and Judy are some very busy and cheerful cooks. As the head cook always tells me, “We are good!”
Things I Have Learned
• That being kind is more important than being right. 
• That I can always pray for someone when I don’t have the strength to help them in some other way.
• That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.
