Peters to talk commerce at League of Women Voters meeting

Jan Peters, chief executive officer and president of the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development, will speak at the next League of Women Voters of Great Bend meeting, set for noon Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the Classic Inn.
For this month’s program, Peters will present the status of commercial growth in the city and the surrounding area. She will present new ideas and what is being done to implement them.
The public is invited to all LOWV meetings and there will be time for questions and discussion. Those who attend may order lunch from the buffet or menu.
League is a non-partisan organization devoted to informing and educating the voting public on national, state and local issues of importance. It is open to men and women.
