Due to the power outage, sensitive components inside traffic control boxes were damaged. As a result, parts are on order with the expectation that they will be here this week.
Affected intersections will be: 10th and Washington, 10th and Grant, 10th and McKinley. These signals will remain in flash mode until repairs can be made.
Motorists are also advised that Patton and Broadway is a four-way stop while electric crews work to restore power.
“Please be careful and attentive in these intersections,” said Street Superintendent James Giles. “We would like to thank you for your patience as these issues are waiting to be resolved.”
Anyone with questions or concerns can contact Giles at 620-793-4150.
