A free educational program on “Healthy Choices When Eating Out” is set for noon Wednesday, March 6 at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th Street. Donna Krug, Cottonwood District Family & Consumer Science agent, will share an updated K-State Research and Extension Fact Sheet on the subject. Since more Americans are choosing to eat out than ever before, it is a good idea to learn strategies aimed at helping a person make healthier choices when eating away from home, Krug said.
