The first ever Pawnee County First Responders and Emergency Services Appreciation Dinner was held on Oct. 21, honoring the service and sacrifice of the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Department, Larned Police Department, Kansas Highway Patrol, the Volunteer Fire Departments of Larned, Burdett, Rozel and Garfield, the Burdett-Rozel and Larned EMS, Kansas Department of Transportation, Pawnee County Road and Bridge and the Linesmen of the City of Larned. Approximately 100 attended the dinner which was sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Pawnee County Criminal Diversion Fund.
