The Golden Plains Quilts of Valor group presented quilts to area veterans on Nov. 26, 2021, at the Great Bend American Legion Post 180. Quilts of Valor Foundation rules prohibit QOV groups or members from supplying the last names of the veterans. The names of veterans are published here at the request of the individuals and with their permission.
Don Witte
United States Navy veteran Don Witte was awarded a Quilt of Valor on November 26, 2021, from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor. Don served from 1955 to 1963.
