Local Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign Coordinator Tonya Ledesma said she is desperate to find volunteer bell ringers, especially now that three backed out on her over this past weekend. Volunteers man kettles from Black Friday through Christmas Eve. Anyone interested in signing up can call Ledesma at 620-792-4299, or find the SA on Facebook at Salvation Army Kettle Campaign – Barton County. Shifts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are eight kettle locations in Barton County: Two at Walmart, two at Dillons and one at Walgreens, all in Great Bend; one at Town and Country Supermarket in Hoisington; and one at Ellinwood Family Foods.
